Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use this website.
01 Acceptance and scope
Effective August 2, 2026. By accessing this website, you agree to these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These website terms do not replace admission, consent, financial, privacy, facility, or treatment documents provided separately to patients.
02 Health information and emergencies
Website content is general information and is not medical advice, diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a promise that a service is appropriate or available. Using the site or sending an inquiry does not create a provider-patient relationship. For a medical emergency call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for crisis support.
03 Description of services
Solace provides addiction treatment and recovery services that may include drug and alcohol detoxification, inpatient or outpatient programming, individual and group therapy, medical and psychiatric services, and aftercare or continuing support. The services available to a particular person depend on assessment, clinical approval, program availability, and the separate documents provided during admission.
04 Patient responsibilities
As a patient or prospective patient, you agree to provide accurate and complete health and medical-history information; follow agreed treatment plans and recommendations; attend scheduled appointments or give notice of cancellation; treat staff and other patients with respect and courtesy; comply with facility rules and policies; and make timely payment for services provided.
05 Treatment and medical decisions
Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed, and recovery requires active participation. Medical decisions are made in consultation with qualified health care professionals. You may refuse treatment or leave the program, subject to the clinical, safety, discharge, and financial terms in your admission documents and applicable law. An emergency may require immediate intervention.
06 Payment and insurance
Payment is due when services are provided unless other arrangements are made. We will work with an insurance provider to seek the coverage available under a plan, but admission, coverage, reimbursement, and benefits are not guaranteed. You remain responsible for deductibles, copayments, non-covered services, and other balances assigned to you. Financial assistance may be available to qualifying individuals. Unpaid balances may be subject to lawful collection procedures.
07 Facility rules and conduct
To maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, Solace prohibits the use or possession of alcohol, drugs, or other controlled substances except as authorized for treatment; violent, threatening, or disruptive behavior; harassment or discrimination; unauthorized recording or photography; and conduct that violates another patient’s privacy or confidentiality.
08 Permitted use
You may use the site for lawful, personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, introduce harmful code, scrape or automate access without permission, impersonate another person, violate another person’s privacy, or use content in a way that infringes rights or breaks the law.
09 Intellectual property
The site and its original text, graphics, branding, layout, and software are owned by or licensed to Solace Recovery and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms grant no ownership interest. You may not reproduce or distribute protected material except as permitted by law or with written permission.
10 Termination
Solace may terminate services or deny access to its facilities for violations of these terms, non-payment, or behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of patients, staff, or visitors. Any termination of treatment services will follow applicable regulations, professional standards, and the controlling admission and program documents.
11 Third-party services
The site may link to services or information controlled by others. Those links are provided for convenience and do not mean that Solace endorses or controls the third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms and privacy practices.
12 Disclaimers and limits
We work to keep site information useful and current, but the site is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Solace does not promise that every page will always be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solace is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from website use. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13 Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the public website handles personal information. Our Confidentiality and HIPAA Notice explains practices for protected health information. Do not use a public website form or ordinary email to send urgent information or sensitive medical, insurance, or identity documents unless Solace has specifically provided an approved secure method.
14 Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and effective date.
